School Garden

Viola Gibson Garden

Our school garden was planted in May of 2014.  The New Pioneer Food Coop has been our partner in this endeavor.  Our first summer we grew zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, and green beans, as well as wild flowers to promote pollination.  We will continue to expand our garden each year and will be including lessons aligned with the Common Core Curriculum for all grade levels.  For more information about this project, please contact Sarah Scott at
